Joanne and Ken

eHarmony is a great tool to meet singles but I never thought that I would one day meet my soul mate through online dating. You see, I've signed up on November of 2007 deciding to "not focus" on finding "the one" after years of search. I've met several great dates, had fun meeting people (not potentials) and eventually realized "single blessedness" and refuse to settle with anybody anymore until eHarmony matched me with Ken that December, I was a little skeptical since I'm from California and he's from Delaware. But there was something about Ken that made me communicate with him. He's genuinely caring and love without boundaries, without hesitation. I never thought anybody could love this much until him; it's was like looking at myself in the mirror and finding my exact replica. Everything was familiar, happy, easy and comfortable. We were both so much alike that it's so uncanny. I use to think opposite attracts and commitment-phobic men are exciting but after a while it gets old.
We talked almost every night, flew back and forth for the next 6 months to see each other and one day in August of 2008, Ken proposed at Longwood Garden and the rest was history. Planning for the wedding was such fun with a soul mate. We were great as a team and eventually got married at a French Chateau March of this year. I feel like a princess finding my happily ever after and I really did. True love does indeed overcome when all else fail.
