Will and Rose
Rose and I live in Portland, the largest city in Maine. We're in our 30s and have lived next to each other for over 2 years. Rose and I might not have ever met were it not for eHarmony, despite the fact that Rose lives across the street from me! As we found out from our eHarmony matching and our subsequent communication, we hung out at some of the same bars, we ate lunch in some of the same places, but we never encountered each other because Rose goes to work an hour before me (leaving her apartment an hour before me, eating lunch an hour before me, hitting our local neighborhood water hole an hour before me) so we never even saw each other, much less met.
Then we saw each other on eHarmony. She was beautiful, smart, articulate, and had many of the same interests as me (reading, hiking, outdoors adventures). We hit it off and had a fun first date. The conversation was so good we met for coffee the next morning to continue it. eHarmony was much better for me than Match.com the only other dating website I tried. The eHarmony matching system works very well. eHarmony takes a lot of the paranoia away because the system lets you get to know someone pretty well BEFORE you begin communication. That is key. Our political, spiritual and family outlooks match up. Our interests match up. Even our personality styles. Now Rose and I were married on July 1st and we couldn't be happier.
