Amy and James

James and I met through eHarmony. I initially wanted to end the match without any communication simply because of his location. I was living in Chicago and he was living in Nebraska. Something in his profile though made me inquire further. It's a huge understatement to say that I'm very glad I did.
We breezed through the initial steps of communication and by the time we reached open communication we were sending lengthy emails back and forth. Then in June I made my first trip to Nebraska. He flew me out and put me up in a hotel while I was there. The communication was easy and we both had a great time getting to know each other in person. The summer was filled with flights to Nebraska and to Chicago. Finally, in August I made my move to Nebraska. Shortly after, in November we became engaged. We are excited that we had the opportunity to meet and now to spend years getting to know each other. This all started with my grandfathers prompting and his friend wanting to see if it was a scheme. It's funny to see how things start and how things come together.
James and I are now married. It was a fairytale wedding at the Joslyn Castle in Omaha Nebraska. We could not be happier. eHarmony works as long as you open your heart to others!
