Estelle and Stephen

Dear Dr. Warren,
I would like to tell you the story of how Steve and I met through eHarmony, as it was, and is, a very important part of our lives. On April 28, 2005, we rode horses down to the Supai Indian Reservation, and despite the rain, we hiked to what I believe to be the most beautiful place in the USA, Havasu Falls, where Steve asked me to marry him. I have attached a picture.
Our wedding date is set for October 8, 2005. We started to correspond just before Christmas, and met shortly after Christmas. Our first date was a tennis match, as we both like sports; it was a great first date, and we were well matched. Because both Steve and I had lost our spouses to cancer approximately two years ago, we were both looking for a special friendship. Before we met, I wanted to know as much about Steve as I possibly could, so I asked him ALL of the remaining questions from eHarmony, and I also answered them for him. It was amazing - our backgrounds, thoughts, likes and dislikes were very similar, and our friends and relatives are all very happy that we found one another.
eHarmony is the only dating service I tried, and Steve was my first date! Needless to say, we have recommended eHarmony to our friends. We are a great example of how eHarmony was able to match two people in their 60s - thanks, eHarmony, Steve and I are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
Sincerely,
Estelle
