Loretta and Raymond
I never believed I would find my soul-mate on eHarmony. I desired to be married again but I had a very specific list of what I desired in a mate. I was happily single and content to stay that way unless I could meet someone who would enhance my life. I visited eHarmony not because I was searching for a mate there but because I wanted the free personality profile. I was more in search of knowing myself better. I joined eHarmony about a month after receiving my personality profile at my daughter’s urging.
Raymond’s “About Me” was very interesting and I requested communication with him but he did not respond. So after about two months of not hearing back from him, I closed him. I decided that when my membership expired soon I would not renew since this whole thing seemed futile. Then I received a final message from Raymond, “You might like me if you got to know me”. I re-opened Raymond. We moved quickly from guided communications to talking on the phone and after 50 days of daily phone calls we met face to face. From the beginning of the guided communications we both knew that we had found a soul-mate. During that first 50 days we laid a foundation of deep, honest, open communication.
We are so perfect for each other. We share the same values, vision and goals. We like the same kinds of clothing, foods, books, entertainment and activities. Although there aren’t many, we celebrate each other’s differences. We were married on Valentine’s Day.
