Michael and I met in the second grade.  We do not remember each other, but we were in the same grade, at the same school, during the same time.

In 2003, we met again on eHarmony. We talked to each other for a couple of months before going on our first date in February of the following year.  Soon after we met, I left the country for two months.  We continued to communicate via email, on the phone, and through the mail. 

When I returned to the U.S., Michael was waiting for me at the airport with flowers.  His romantic gesture made me realize that he was someone special.
