I just wanted to write to let you know about my success story with eHarmony. After many years of dating and getting to the point of throwing my hands up for good, I decided to join eHarmony and give it a chance. I had stepped out of the dating world for a few months before then because it was starting to feel like I was loosing a piece of myself with every new date I went on.
Being skeptical, I only joined for a month to see what it would be like. I had a lot of matches in that first month, but most were either far away geographically or just didn’t seem to fit. Then, just as my month was about to expire, I was matched with Jason. Needless to say, I renewed my membership so that I could get to know Jason better. It was after a month of chatting back and forth that we finally met.
We have a 50 mile distance between us, which didn’t make for the most convenient planning, but it wasn’t terrible either. After meeting Jason and going out with him a couple times, I was really drawn to him. He was funny, handsome, easy to talk to, a good listener and a very caring person. We shared all the same values as well as the same religion which helped us connect. After one year and 8 months of dating, Jason asked me to marry him on Christmas Day 2007. I am so lucky to have met Jason. He is everything I could want in my life partner. I am looking forward to having Jason as my partner to love, laugh with, grow with, dream with, go on adventures with, build with, encourage… and the list goes on and on.
I was lucky I gave it a chance when I did. Jason was about to cancel his membership right before he met me because he wasn’t having a lot of luck. So, thanks, eHarmony!!
