Hassan and I first found each other on December 9, 2007. We had been on the site for a few months and were both about to give up. Then Hassan's profile was sent to me, and mine to his...he waited for me to respond! I loved everything he had to say, and based off of personality and interests, he was everything I was looking for, and apparently, so was I.

We emailed each other every day sometimes twice a day for about a week and a half. We finally exchanged numbers and I made the first phone call. He was at work, so we could not talk very long. However, that night, we talked for hours. We talked for hours every night for the next week.

The day we finally met, we looked at each other and smiled. It was the most surreal moment of our lives. We hugged and kissed, and then went out to dinner. We laughed and stared at each other all evening.

He proposed to me on the New York New York Bridge in Las Vegas during the fireworks! It only took six months for us to know we wanted to be together for the rest of our lives. We said our vows, and were declared husband and wife. It was the most intimate, and perfect day of my life.  We got married on October 9, 2008...it was the best birthday gift ever!
