How do you fall in love over the internet and despite thousands of miles in between? This is a question that neither Gary nor I have been able to answer. But it happens and it's not just a dream, it actually came true. I was in Bogota, Colombia and Gary in Pensacola, Florida... Our love is so strong we have been able to overcome the distance, difference in cultures and many hard moments. We lived 5 hours apart and saw each other about every other weekend. On August 18, 2007, Thad dropped to his knee and pulled out a ring. It was a proposal that I thought girls only dreamed about. Thad and I found a place right in the middle of our five hour space to plan a small wedding. The wedding was set for June 14, 2008 and after a short honeymoon in Florida, we now reside in the land of happily ever after!

As I look back, it's truly amazing to see how our relationship grew into what it is today with the two of us living 1400 miles apart from each other.
