Toronto date ideas

Spread over six-hundred square kilometres, Toronto has no shortage of date ideas for its’ professional singles. Here are three of our favourite ideas for dating in Toronto:

• Toronto Islands

o Best kept as an idea for summer, the Toronto Islands have almost been built with a date in mind. Go on a ride at Centreville or rent a paddleboat and go for a lake cruise.

• The ROM (Royal Ontario Museum)

o Into something a bit more cultural? The ROM has all sorts of interesting exhibits that are part of its permanent display, and many more special exhibitions and collections. It’s easy to get to with its own subway stop (aptly named Museum on the Yonge Line). Tip: Admission is free on Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:30pm. 

• The Hockey Hall of Fame

o It might be easy to think this is one more for the guys, but the Hockey Hall of Fame is almost guaranteed to make you both smile on your first date. You can even have a shoot-out against a real-time goalie. If that’s not enough, you can have a go at stopping a slap shot from Wayne Gretzky. Just try to forget that even though the Hockey Hall of Fame is home to the Stanley Cup, its presence in Toronto has had nothing to do with the Maple Leafs winning it since 1967 (shhhh….).
